Sanja Horvat

Ms. Sanja Horvat is a Water/Wastewater Expert with international experience working in countries of Balkan region (Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania). She worked as a Manager of sewage network of Koprivnica (Croatia) and WWTPs (100 000 PE and 1200 PE) in Municipal Water and Sanitation Company for more than 13 years, where she was responsible for the management, technical operation and maintenance of sewage network and WWTPs with tertiary treatment.

As a freelance expert, she covered process supervision engineering and in project management activities on many projects of construction of WWTPs. Besides process engineering activities in construction, supervision, project management of WWTPs she is very good at developing strategic documents in environmental sector, public procurement procedure, bidding documentation preparation, tender proposals evaluation, capacity building, etc.

She is currently engaged as Operation and Maintenance Expert for WWTP Gjakova, on behalf of Sachsen Wasser GmbH, as an Accompanying Measures Consultant.
