Leonat Muskollari is a senior institutional expert with more than 20 years of experience in water and sanitation sector, of which 16 years of experience in organization and improvement of public institutions organization such as business plan preparation, capacity development, digitalization and lately in the adoption of circular economy principles including innovative solutions in the sector. Leonat is a highly motivated qualified specialist and has earned in-depth experience in the complete water and wastewater project cycle including the circular economy principles, digitalization of processes, the elaboration of feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, ToR preparation, tendering, contracting, site supervision, quality control, monitoring and evaluation, commissioning and operation of water and wastewater networks and wastewater treatment plants. In addition, he has first-hand experience in working on German Cooperation GIZ, KFW and EU-funded projects in the environmental, water and wastewater sector. He has extensive international experience and has worked in several international projects as project coordinator like “Environmental Protection of Lake Ohrid”, “EU support to wastewater management and treatment services” (EUSWAM) and Customer and Performance Oriented Drinking Water and Sanitation Services” (CPWS).
Currently, he works as a Advisor for Water and Sanitation for GIZ Water Programme.
