Biography

Ms. Linda Çavdarbasha was appointed Deputy Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure on April 6, 2021.
She is a dedicated ecologist and activist with solid experience in implementing projects that support sustainable living and green development in Kosovo. Based on her research and advocacy interests, she has held positions that support and promote the preservation of sustainable livelihoods, the protection of biodiversity, the development of a circular green economy, and the education of new generations on environmental issues.
She has experience in managing EU projects and other foreign donors as a result of engagement in various international and national organizations such as: Associazione Trentino con i Balcani, Local Democracy Agency of Kosovo and Let’s Do It Peja.
Since November 2019-April 2021, she has been a delegate to the Agency for Local Democracy in Kosovo, which is part of ALDA-Europe and the Balkan Network for Local Democracy (regional network that includes the Western Balkan countries).
Ms. Çavdarbasha is a graduate of the Faculty of Biology – Department of Ecology – Environmental Protection, at the University of Pristina. He continued his Master’s studies in the same branch and completed a semester at the Department of Biology, University of Konstanz in Germany.
Ms. Çavdarbasha belongs to the political entity Alternative.
She was born in Peja in 1994, and lives in Pristina. She has excellent knowledge of English and basic German.
