Valentina Slavevska – Stamenkovic

Valentina Slavevska – Stamenkovic, PhD is a full professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, specializing in freshwater biodiversity. With over 20 years of experience, she is a leading expert in the conservation of freshwater ecosystems. Throughout her career, prof. Slavevska – Stamenkovic has dedicated her research to understanding and preserving aquatic life, contributing significantly to watershed management plans and strategies for sustainable water resource use. Her work has been instrumental in shaping conservation policies and protecting the biodiversity of freshwater systems across the region.
