Tamás Huzsvár

Tamás Huzsvár has more than four years of experience in increasing energy efficiency and optimizing water distribution networks. He earned his master’s degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology and Economics in Budapest, Hungary in 2019. During his PhD, he gained valuable experience in real-life water distribution network optimization, focusing on pressure management-based leakage reduction, capacity enhancement, vulnerability management, and energy efficiency improvement. Tamás successfully defended his PhD in 2023 and has been working for over four years as a water distribution modeler at DHI Hungary. In addition to network modeling, he is responsible for web-based and online SCADA-connected solutions.

Currently, his work is centered around creating online hydraulic models that can accurately describe the flows and pressures in real-life water distribution networks.
