Pál Bartók

Pál Bartók has over twenty years of experience in operations control at Budapest Waterworks, the water utility supplier of the Hungarian capital. He earned his Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with specialisation in flow technology and environmental technology at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2001. He gained experience in establishing, maintaining and improving system technology and information technology conditions for safe operation control of water utility assets; in improving the efficiency of operation control activity by SCADA system with special attention to energy efficiency. Mr. Bartók has been giving continuous support to the international projects of Budapest Waterworks, making him knowledgeable of water utility operations conditions not only in Hungary but also in Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, North-Macedonia, as well as Pakistan.

Currently, he works as an Operations Control Engineer, continuously optimizing the operations to the ever changing conditions to ensure energy consumption is controlled and moderate.
