Oltion Marko

In 2001, he completed his studies at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Faculty of Forestry Sciences for Forest Engineer. In 2006, he earned the degree of Doctor of Science, in the field of Forestry Sciences Agricultural University of Tirana. In 2012, he won the title of Associate Professor at the University
Polytechnic of Tirana. From 2001-2006, Scientific Researcher at the Institute of Forestry and Pasture Research in Tirana, where for several years he also performed the duties of Deputy. Director of the Institute. From 2007 – January 2009, Sector Manager, near the National Environment Agency. From 2009 onwards, he is a full-time lecturer near the Department of Environmental Engineering. June 2016 onwards, Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering. From May 2019 onwards, he is the Chairman of the Council of Professors at the Faculty of Construction Engineering. September 2020 onwards, member of the Academic Senate of the Polytechnic University of Tirana.
The main areas of research are Soil Erosion, Watershed Management and Systematization and Environmental Risk Assessment. Prof. Assoc. Oltion Marko, is the author and co-author of 15 scientific articles published in journals various International and National Scientific Conferences, as well as participants in 20 different conferences
International and National Scientific. He has been the organizer and co-organizer of several International Scientific Conferences and Symposia.
