Niman Baliu

Niman Baliu has completed his higher studies in Prishtina in the direction of Management. He has 20 years of experience in the water sector. His experience in the water sector spans various roles such as: public relations, finance, marketing and reporting. He has also been a liaison person between the waterworks and local and international organizations/institutions where he has worked on support projects for the development of the “Mitrovica” waterworks such as: CDI, Gelsewasser, IAWD, KWE, BB KFW, etc. During 1999, he worked in Durrës, Albania with the international organization “Care International”, while in Kosovo he has a bright experience with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).

Currently, he works as a Spokesperson & Reporting Officer at the Regional Water Company “Mitrovica” in Mitrovica, Kosovo. He is a coordinator at “The Danube HUB” in the Utility Benchmarking Program (UBT).
Under his leadership, the Media, Public Relations, Marketing and Reporting sectors have risen to a professional level and have recorded continuous success towards achieving the mission of the Mitrovica Regional Water Company.
