Liburn Aliu

Mr. Liburn Aliu has completed his higher university studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Pristina. As an architect he has worked in the field of design and construction, as well as engaged in the restoration of cultural heritage monuments. He has been the Director of the Directorate of Urbanism in the Municipality of Pristina, where he was known for his work in the digitalization of urbanism, standardization of building permits, and for bringing urban order in the city of Pristina. Mr. Aliu has been part of each legislature with the political party of Vetëvendosje, serving 5 terms as a member of parliament, from where he later resigned to take up his new post and responsibility, as Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure of Kosovo.
