Karin Gallandat

Karin Gallandat is a Programme Manager in the Infrastructure Financing division of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). She is responsible for water supply and sanitation projects, with a focus on utility capacity strengthening. Karin previously conducted research on the impacts of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Karin’s background is in environmental engineering (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, Switzerland) and she holds a PhD in environmental health (Tufts University, USA).
