Jovan Gjika

Mr. Jovan Gjika has completed his studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering to continue his Master studies in Business Administration MBA. He has 20 years of experience in implementation, design, supervision and management in the water sector. He has extensive experience in managing international projects and is active nationally and internationally. He has been committed to the public sector, by being an active part in the preparation of strategies, legislation, and by participating in several national and international Conferences.

Currently, he is the Manager of Projects financed by the German Government through the German Development Bank KFW in cooperation with other donors such as the Swiss Government and the European Union in the sector of water supply and sewerage and urban waste infrastructure at AKUM.

The success of the projects has been tangible by changing the situation of water supply and improving the performance of water supply and sewerage companies that have been part of the projects. Tangible achievements have also been seen in the integrated urban waste management infrastructure.
