Elsa Belba

Ms. Elsa Belba is a hydrotechnical engineer who has two years of experience working at the Tirana Water and Wastewater Utility, followed by more than three years at the National Agency of Water Supply, Wastewater and Waste Infrastructure (AKUM) where she is currently working. Ms. Belba is also a representative member of AKUM in the Supervisory Council of Elbasan Regional Water and Wastewater Company, after the very important reform in Water Sector led by AKUM. She recognizes the importance of the shortfalls issue of human resources in the water sector, particularly among young professionals. She joined the Albanian Young Water Professionals group, aiming to establish a strong structure that attracts and supports young professionals in the water sector and ensure a sustainable future for water management. Ms. Belba holds diplomas in Hydrotechnical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Tirana and in Water Supply Engineering from the Epoka University.
