Behxhet Bala

Behxhet Bala, has completed basic studies and master’s degree (Criminal Administration) at the Faculty of Law in Prishtina. He has 9 years of experience in drafting legislation, standards and regulatory decisions, through which the activity of water service providers in Kosovo is regulated. He has also made a great contribution to the drafting of legislation for the protection of the rights of all categories of consumers in Kosovo. Also, he has extensive experience in organizing workshops by training the staff of service providers in Kosovo.
From 1999 to 2009 he worked as an Officer of the Kosovo Defense Forces with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. While from the end of 2009 to the end of 2013, he was the Municipal Director for Protection and Rescue, in the Municipality of Mitrovica.

Currently, he is the Director of the Legal Affairs and Licensing Department at the Water Regulatory Authority.
