Agostino Avanzi

Agostino Avanzi is specialized in water resources management, hydrological, hydraulic and integrated catchment modelling, hydrodynamic analysis, modelling of complex open channels systems for water conveyance, audit of water resource systems, bulk water systems, rivers and channel flows.

He is also very well equipped in water supply systems. He has over 18 years of experience in hydrological/hydraulic models and 1D-2D hydraulic models development and calibration by means of flows/level measurements for drainage and irrigation systems for River basin Management Plans development.

Agostino graduated with MSc in Civil Engineering, specialization in Hydrology & Hydraulic Engineering from the International University of Padova (ITALY) in 2006. He is very well familiar with international institutions’ processes and procedures (United Nations, European Commission, World Bank, EuropeAid, USAID, AfDB, IADB, EIB, …) and experienced in working in developing countries in the framework of cooperation programmes.

Currently Agostino is in charge in Idrostudi as International Business Development Manager.
