ADEM AHMETAJ

Mr. Adem Ahmetaj is graduated in the Faculty of Economics and MASTER studies, Management and Informatics, at the State University “Hasan Prishtina” in Pristina. Since 2010,I have  been working as a senior official for policy and monitoring of public enterprises in the Ministry of Economy. I have participated in many trainings, seminars and conferences, and I have been part of steering committees for projects related to the water sector in Kosovo. My experience, in addition to monitoring public enterprises, is also related to the coordination of projects for the rehabilitation of the sewage system in the southwest of Kosovo, as well as the project for the supply of equipment for the collection and transportation of waste in Kosovo, projects that were financed by the German Bank for Development (KfW). For five years I was co-chairman of the steering committee for the “Support Program for Water Supply and Sewerage in Rural Areas – Phase VI”, co-financed by the Government of Switzerland and the Government of Kosovo. During the years 2022 – 2023, I held the position of Head of the Unit for Policy and Monitoring of Public Enterprises and I also contributed as a member of the SHUKOS Board.
