Gerta Lubonja

Gerta Lubonja graduated in Hydro-Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Tirana and has completed specializations in Japan, Austria, and Turkey, deepening her expertise in water management and sustainable development. She has 20 years of experience in engineering, water management, and public policy development. She has contributed to the private sector and served as Chair of the Territorial Regulation Commission in the Tirana Municipal Council (2011–2015). From 2014 to 2024, she has led key institutions for water resources management and participated in international projects such as EUSIWUM and ESPID4Vjosa. She has also represented Albania in international water conventions and commissions.

Currently, she serves as the Chair of the National Commission of the Water Regulatory Authority.
