Adem Ahmetaj

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and holds a Master’s degree in Management and Informatics from the State University “Hasan Prishtina” in Prishtina. Since 2010, he has been working as a senior officer for public enterprise policies and monitoring at the Ministry of Economy. He has been part of several steering committees for projects related to the water sector in Kosovo.

His experience goes beyond public enterprise monitoring and also includes coordinating projects with international donors. He co-chaired the steering committee for the “Support Program for Water Supply and Sewerage in Rural Areas – Phase V,” co-financed by the Government of Switzerland and the Government of Kosovo.

During 2022–2023, he served as Head of the Unit for Public Enterprise Policies and Monitoring and contributed for five years as a member of the SHUKOS Board. Currently, in addition to monitoring public enterprises, he is also the Coordinator of the Implementing Unit for the project “Climate Resilience in the Water Sector of Kosovo.”
