Mr. Abedin Azizi has more than 26 years of experience in various tasks and roles in water, wastewater, waste management, environmental protection and climate change projects, mainly engaged with international engineering / consulting companies.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in the formulation and design of feasibility studies, the preparation of preliminary and final designs, the supervision and management of the implementation of projects in the water sector and other research projects.
Abedin Azizi has been part of the team of international and local experts for the design of the feasibility study and environmental impact assessment for municipal waste projects (landfills). Part of the team of international and local experts for the design of the Kosovo Climate Change Strategy – National Strategy for Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change, including the National Climate Change Action Plan.
Since 2021, he has been part of the Water Services Regulatory Authority (WSRA) in the position of Deputy Director. Abedin AZIZI holds the title of Doctor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pristina.
